Project Associate-II | National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) Hyderabad

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following positions against the DBT funded project entitled “Socio-economic upliftment of landless and marginal farmers of Yadgir district (an aspirational district) of Karnataka through goat rearing” at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

Project Associate-II (One post)

Eligibility:

  • Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Sciences (MVSc) / MSc (LifeSciences/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Biochemistry) with a minimum of two years of research experience.
  • Non-NET-qualified candidates with a postgraduate degree in the above-mentioned disciplines can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.

Desired Experience: Candidate having experience of working on naotechnological interventions to deliver micronutrients or synthesis of nanoparticles or socio-economic aspect of rural development will be given preference.

Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount: Rs. 35,000 + 24 % HRA as per the DST guidelines.

Field Assistant (One Post)

Eligibility:

Intermediate (10+2) with Diploma in animal husbandry or veterinary sciences / BSc (Agriculture/Life Sciences)

Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in Animal Handling, Animal Breeding and management with the ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu will be given
preference.

Age: 30 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)

Fellowship amount: Rs. 20,000/-PM + 24% HRA as per the DST guidelines.
