Famous Netflix streaming app has revealed that it will provide two-day free streaming services in India. This means users would be able to watch the show or series of their choice without entering the card details or purchasing the subscription. The company had announced earlier in October that Streamfest would allow all users to stream on Netflix at no cost for 48 hours.

When can one use the free subscription to Netflix?
The Streamfest will take place at 12:01 am on 5 December in India and will be active till 11:59 pm on 6 December. User should simply enter their name, email address, and create a password in order to make use of the advantages provided by them. The promotional offer allows users to access the whole Netflix collection that includes films, series, documentaries, etc.
Talking about a Streamfest announcement in India, Netflix COO Greg Peters had said during a conference call “An idea we’re excited about — and we’ll see how things work, we think that giving everyone a free Netflix connection for a weekend in a country might be a fantastic way to introduce a whole bunch of new people to the wonderful stories that we have. Creating an event, probably, and get a majority of the people to register.”
Users who register/login for Netflix will be able to access the content on their smart TV, game console, iOS, Android applications and PC. The streaming performance is, however, Standard Definition (SD).

Netflix had stopped providing a free trial for 30 days in India earlier this year. The company then ceased to provide free trial on all other markets.
Netflix has also implemented a low-cost smartphone streaming plan at Rs 199 in an effort to draw more subscribers to India. In other words, subscribers can watch shows only by making a monthly purchase of Rs 199 on their Netflix application. Netflix has launched multiple short-term plans for Indian subscribers’ pockets.
“We worked so hard to make our services in India more affordable and attractive to our members, and we have many products, alliances and payment integrations,,” said Netflix COO Peters to analytics about their plans to India. “We are working hard to make our products more competitive.
