Grammys 2021: Celebs To Perform Billie Eilish, BTS & Taylor Swift

Cardi B and Harry Styles are both confirmed for the show “to come together safely.”

The Recording Academy has announced the entire line-up for Grammys this year. Cardi B, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, and Taylor Swift are performers. Also confirmed for the first time are Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, and Harry Styles.

Although BTS performed theoretically last year, it only appeared to contribute briefly to the “old city road” slot of Lil Nas X. Similarly, last year Roddy Ricch performed for the first time, albeit for Nipsey Hussle’s party tribute. It should also be noted that Harry Styles never played as part of One Direction.

“Artists will come together as a group to celebrate the music that joins all of us, yet still safely separated,” the Recording Academy said in a release on Sunday morning, March 7th.

The show will start at 17.00 PT (8.00 p.m. ET) on Sunday 14th March, hosted by the comedian and daily show host Trevor Noah. It will be available on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ in real-time, where it will also be available on demand.

While live and pre-recorded shows would be combined for safety reasons, managing director Ben Winston told Rolling Stone that he intended to make the show as life as possible. Winston also announced it won’t happen at Staples Center. (1999 was the last time either N.Y.’s Madison Square Garden or L.A.’s Staples Center is housed in the Grammy).

To learn more about this unrevealed location this year that allowed Winston to “create a whole world” read Rolling Stone’s story about next week’s plans. There, he will also address the honoring in independent places of music and recognition of social justice in television, multiple stage development with Covid-19 in mind, and a fresh take on the storytelling event with a brand new team.
