Coronavirus: 3 important things you should always have during the COVID pandemic

Some stuff we never forget about when we walk out of the door, like our wallet and our mobile phone. These are the two most significant items and it feels like the worst mistake ever to leave them behind at home. But you can now add a few more items to your list of important commodities when dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

COVID-19 has changed our lives and our goals in many ways. One has to be extra vigilant when going to public places or to minimise exposure to germs and bacteria that lead to diseases. In order to remain healthy, we have compiled the list of 3 items you need to bring with you.

1. Carrying a Mask

As states reopen residence orders, many, including Maharashtra, now require people in most public areas to wear face coverings to minimise COVID-19 spread.

The Disease Control and Prevention Centers (CDC), as well as the World Health Organization, are now suggesting clean masks for the public at large but the two organisations have advised the other way around earlier during the pandemic. These changes may lead the public to become confused about the effectiveness of masks.

However, healthcare experts have shown that masks will help to avoid COVID-19 spread and that the more masks people wear, the better.

2. Your personal Hand sanitizer

If we are out, we come into touch with many items, such as shopping cart, doorknobs, food bags. On this surface, you will never know which pathogens there are. To avoid COVID infection, your hands must be clean. The most effective way to eliminate pathogens that cause the disease is to wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. Sanitizer, however, is the second-best option in the absence of this. Always hold at least 60 per cent ethanol or isopropyl alcohol in a hand bottle of sanitizer.

3. Carrying a Tissue

You can always bear with yourself as you leave, not just during the pandemic but tissues. They can be used for a range of purposes, such as coughing and gushing your mouth and nose, washing your hands, purifying doors and pressing lift buttons. This is a simple way to limit germs and bacteria exposure.
