Signal App: How To Backup and Restore Messages

Signal has been the first free app in many countries, including India, as a relatively unknown app. The huge rush of new users into the Open Source platform is due to the new service conditions and privacy policy of WhatsApp. It has seen an upturn in downloads as consumers are searching for alternatives to WhatsApp.

This is after WhatsApp revealed its service terms and privacy policy were revised on 8 February 2021. The company said in an app update that Users who do not consent to its latest rules would not be able to use the app.

One of the most useful features of WhatsApp that Signal currently lacks is the ability to make cloud backups of your chats. In comparison to WhatsApp, Signal provides only local backups.
In this article, we look at how your message can be saved and restored in Signal.
