Vaccines are further delivered in refrigerated vans to state and then district vaccine stores. These vans are insulated to ensure that the appropriate temperature for vaccines is maintained to prevent waste. Jabs can hit primary health care centers from District Vaccine Stores and then the Sub-Center Session Site in a controlled environment. Realtime Remote Temperature Control has been adopted by health authorities across 29,000 cold chain sites.

From Centres of Vaccination To People

A Co-WIN application has been launched by the Central Government which will be used as a digitized platform for deploying vaccines. The Sub-Center Session Site shall have records and a list of registered beneficiaries using the Co-WIN application.

The vaccination center workers will search the registered recipients’ IDs. The government released a list of 12 documents that can be used as photo ID evidence during vaccine registration. Trained health officials will administer vaccines to beneficiaries that will be monitored for 30 minutes before leaving the facility for any side effects.

All centers, of which the waiting room, vaccination room, an observation room, are divided into three parts. Receipts will be provided to beneficiaries after the workout, and the Co-WIN application will update the data in real-time.

Government notifies all Covid-19 immunization sessions between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and 30 crore frontline staff are supposed to receive the first stage vaccine dose.
