PSN Down: Last PS4 server status hit with PS5 maintenance error
This evening, the PSN servers are reportedly down for PS4 and PS5 gamers, with PlayStation Network maintenance error messages obtained from console owners starting at Start: 11/02/2021, 6:49 AM.
Tonight, PSN servers are reportedly down with thousands of PS4 and PS5 gamers alerts.
Messages from affected console owners indicate that a maintenance notice appears on PlayStation dashboards today night, with one user report:
“Man I wish they would have actually let us know about server maintenance before they just shut it down.”
Another adds: “My console says an error has occurred (WS-37397-9) what’s that mean by the way.”
However, although PSN maintenance is ongoing, the PSN server status page does not list anything about server downtime.
The PlayStation Network only supports PlayStation Video clients with all other core services offline ranked or impacted by tonight’s failure, according to the official website.
The news on the PSN page is that the Account Management, PlayStation Now and other main game services are currently offline.
A message from Sony reads: “You might have trouble logging into or creating a PlayStation Network account. We work on the problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
“You may have trouble starting games, applications, or network features. We are trying to solve the problem as quickly as possible.
The good news is that gamers can read more about Sony if there are long-term issues with the PlayStation Network tonight.
Updates will be shared on the website of the official PlayStation Network status and social media networks.
Why the PSN is down currently or how long problems with PS4 and PS5 consoles would last is unknown.
